The Komen Foundation has provided a generous grant of  $70,339 for the foundation’s Project Lifeline.  Project Lifeline offers critical assistance and support to younger women with breast cancer and provides educational outreach in the community to spread breast cancer awareness and increase screening and early detection among minority, low income, and under insured individuals.

Sheila Howard is the foundation’s new executive director.  Sheila has a background in managing Boards and regulating clinical research and has served as an advocate for the needs and rights of research subjects.
